Product Engineering
Our business area is the development of automated systems for tipper trucks, train wagon, semi-trailers and others to improve their aerodynamics and optimize their loading in order to make them more competitive in the transport market. The choice of this direction has been decided for 3 key reasons.
- No significant improvement has been made on the semi-trailer for more than 50 years.
- The decision of the European Parliament has imposed to truck manufacturers from 2022 the use of aerodynamic solutions in order to achieve a 15% reduction in CO² by 2025 and 30% from 2030.
- The arrival of autonomous trucks will have a strong impact on the workload of drivers, who will become more or less in the long-term managers – logisticians of the semi-trailer that will be driven by trucks with AI technologies.
